Are You a Good Mom? (FREE Printable!)

Good Moms have sticky floors, messy kitchens, laundry piles, dirty ovens, and happy kids!

I find myself wondering this quite often. Am I a good mom? I certainly don’t feel like a good mom sometimes. Then again, who would?

The standards we are trying to live up to are impossible to reach. They tell us: You should always have a beautiful, spotless home. You should look put-together every time you leave the house. You should have energy throughout the entire day. You should always have a smile. Your children should always be quiet and polite. The list goes on. It’s no wonder we feel so much pressure! All of these “unspoken rules” are draining us, as we try to abide by every single one of them simultaneously.

Fellow moms, what if we stopped trying? What if we just gave ourselves a break? What if we actually believed that it is OKAY not to be perfect? What if we embraced the mess, the clutter, the imperfection, and the noise? Several months ago, I came across a cute little quote that inspired me to do just that. In fact, the quote became the inspiration for this whole blog. It said, “Good moms have sticky floors, messy kitchens, laundry piles, dirty ovens, and happy kids!” What a fun, lighthearted, yet very true reminder it has been for me. I hope it will be a great reminder for you also!

To help you be daily reassured of this encouraging truth, I created this FREE printable for you! Print it out on your favorite paper, put it in a cute frame, and set it where you will see it daily. :) Enjoy!
